At Anthem Services we count on our community to thrive and we found a great way to give back. We are donating blood platelets to the Armed Services Blood Program at the Apheresis donor center at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. This hour long procedure involves having blood drawn, platelets removed and the blood put back into the donor. Platelets go directly to our military members or families of military members having surgeries or treatments at Walter Reed. We are proud to announce our chief Inspector has pledged to donate blood platelets once a month for the rest of 2019.
